 Technical Preview Version 12

I would like to take part in the technical preview of version 12. I read that the Windows server on which I want to install the TM1 server needs internet access. Could you please explain the reasons for this and provide the URLs and ports to configure the firewall?

The info in the documentation is:

"Make sure that you are using a stable internet connection because the installer fetches necessary third-party utilities to complete the installation."

Hi Thomas,

At the moment that is still correct as it needs to pull MongoDB which it uses to store the operation log at this point in time (that by itself is going away later this year). We discussed allowing people to 'bring their own' Mongo instance at which point TM1's v12 installer would no longer need internet access either, but that's not in the installer yet.
