 Storage Scale and S3

Hi all,

We are testing the Storage Scale and the S3 implementation as front end for applications.

We are at the latest version 5.2.3 of Scale.

We have some questions:

  • From the GUI, we are not able to visualize the buckets and the used space per bucket (Fileset view or any other). Is there a easy way to viualize it ?
  • It looks like the AWS-S3 API Object Lock is not supported by the Scale. Could you confirm ? Do you know if it's on the Roadmap ?

Hallo Pierre-Henry,
to the second point we already diskussed this to product managment. And please open a requirement to this. To the first one there are some missing feature here. Please vote to this requirement:

Hi folks,

Is there some update on the support of the S3 Object Lock in Scale ?

Also, it woud be really interested to have the product IBM Deep Archive (S3 Glacier) part of the Scale solution.

Any comments would be appreciated.
