Why Storage Insight not show current report about APARs or firmware that particular system is affected to? I'd expect red flags to be show for critical problems without need digging in change logs. 

Example:  5200 running  8.7.0.7 firmware has now

  • 2  HIPER APARs
  • 8  CRITICAL APARs
  • 2 HIPER FCMs APARs

Some of them lead to potential data lost, some of them to data unavailability.

Status in Storage Insight is Normal. I'd expect kind of warning there. 

What can be done to receive notification as soon as particular problem is raised?

Hi Lukas,

Are you referring to the Free version?
The Pro version provides an extensive amount of information, so much so that it feels almost endless. In fact, there are days when I still discover new features and capabilities.

Yes. So in pro you have notification about particular APAR or firmware problems? What i see is software upgrade recommendation dated Jul 14, 2025. Not up do date for sure.
