Hi! I get a trial subscription today and it is my first subscription. I installed SPSS on my machine(and it is my first time installing SPSS on my machine). When I tried to activate the software it says that there was a subscription already. How to solve this?

Hi @Redouane LESHAF

I am assuming this is the message you are getting when you try to login to your IBM SPSS Statistics Trial instance:

Have you tried following the first link?  It will take you to https://myibm.ibm.com/dashboard where you can review your products.
On this page you should see the tile for your SPSS Statistics Trial as well as its status (Expired).

If you follow the "Manage" button on this tile, it will take you to an Overview of your account.
Some take aways from the "Overview" about the Free Trial:
  • 14-day trial period begins immediately after registration
  • Requires internet connectivity and IBMid to log in
  • Analyzes and stores data on your desktop, there is nothing "in the cloud" beyond your licensing.
  • Technical Support (other than a licensing issue) is not included
At the very bottom of this page will be a "Details" section reporting the activation period
If your activation period is appearing as still valid, yet your product is showing up as "expired" upon launch, then that is indeed cause for concern.  In that case, please open a Licensing Case and select the "OTHER" license request type.  In your request, please include such personally identifying information (PID) as the IBMid used and the Subscription ID reported on the MyIBM Dashboard.  Obviously, since this will involve an exchange of PID, please pursue this on the IBM SPSS Statistics Support site rather than providing that information in this public forum.

Actually, I'm getting this

And here is the details section(I didn't include subscription ID)
you can even check in your database that this is my first subscription.
For the licensing case, I already submitted one (and I will submit another one)
Thanks

Hi @Redouane LESHAF,

No need to open a new case.  I found you under Support case TS020101564.  One of my colleagues will be reaching out to you via the case.
