Hello! I have an issue with opening SPSS 30.0.0 on macOS Sequoia 15.4.1. I attach the screencast video (P.S. the video shows the basic cursor instead of the loading spinner). I get no error message, I just have a 2-3 minute loading, and afterwards the program closes. I have already tried twice to uninstall with this script and reinstall it, but it did not work. I could not find any more solutions to this case. Would appreciate your help!

Hi @Anna Kermanova
When you look at your system settings, privacy and security,  are you allowing SPSS Statistics access to your home folders?

When you look at your Firewall settings, is IBM SPSS Statistics 'allowed'?
When you check your Activity Monitor, are these three processes running?  If not, there may be further local firewall/security/permissions issue to troubleshoot on your Mac.

Hello @David Dwyer! I checked everything you suggested; here are the screenshots. It seems like spssengine process does not start when opening the program.

Hi @Anna Kermanova

Your screenshots seem to imply there is something blocking the communication between the frontend process. (IBM SPSS Statistics) and the backend process (spssengine).  Usually this is a firewall or other "internet security" type application.  Do you have something like that other than the local macOS firewall?

Here is a blog post detailing several reasons for IBM SPSS Statistics failing to launch - IBM SPSS Statistics and Statistics Subscription: Failure to launch
