Did you see the view switcher feature we released in 2.1.16?  Some details are here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/planning-analytics/2.1.0?topic=2116-switch-views-directly-from-cube-viewer

We would need to add an option reset the current view.  We are added a new user setting to enable this feature by default in 2.1.18/3.1.4.

by setting the feature default, you mean, it comes also to the User Settings, so it can be activated globally for the user as other view settings? 

And the other question: 
for now it seems that there is also kind of a default size for the view name, i.e. if the name of the view is a bit bigger, you still see the limited part of it. 
If the view switcher is not activated, you see the whole name. 

I'm not sure if it is better to get a flexibel size of this view name field or at least a bigger field than now. 

Attached you can see the 2 screens: the one withouth the switcher and one with. 

The option for resetting the view is very nice and very valueable!
