 Question about 2:1 PBR pool linking

Hi, everyone

How should I configure the Pool Link when configuring PBR with two primary storage and one DR storage (i.e., a 2:1 PBR configuration)?

Is possible a 2:1 Pool Link also?

Which of the following cases should I configure the 2:1 Pool Link?

Case #1 Pool Link (2:1)

1st main storage parent pool <-> dr storage parent pool 

2nd main storage parent pool <-> dr storage parent pool 

Case #2 Pool Link (2:1)

1st main storage parent pool <-> dr storage parent pool 

2nd main storage parent pool <-> dr storage child pool 

Case #3 Pool Link (2:1)

1st main storage parent pool <-> dr storage parent pool 

2nd main storage child pool <-> dr storage child pool

Hi.  Yes, you can link a pool on one system to one pool on each partnered system.

All of those three configurations you suggested would be supported.  However, I imagine it's really the first case that you want...  To add the pool link for the second 'primary storage' system, log into that system and configure the link on that system to the DR system.
