I use SPSS version 30.0.0.0(172). I run PSM alright but never showed the results on my data view.  Upon trying to find out what the problem would have been, I was told I did not save and that I should check save in my dialog box. I went back to the dialog box and there is no save button. I did further check and I was told maybe I am using MACTHING3.0 or something like that which I was told do not have the save button in the dialog box and is for SPSS version 25 and below. My problem is that I am not using SPSS version 30.  What might be the cause of this.

I have run my matching alright, but I want the details result to help me know which households are not matching

I'm sorry.  The fix requires V31.0.1.0.  The bug was inside the SPSS code, so I could not fix it in psm.

The advice you got is incorrect, and dialog box would not have a save nutton.

There are two possible solutions if  you can't get access to V31.

  1. You can see the logistic regression run by PSM.  You could run that directly using the LOGISTIC REGRESSION procedure and save the predicted probabilities.  Then run FUZZY using that variable for the match.  FUZZY actually has some options not available in PSM.
  2. If you want to paste the syntax from PSM and send it to me (jkpeck@gmail.com) along with the sav file that is used, I can run that code in V31 and send you the output and data.
