 Process to get 'Add-on'? Currently blocked from purchasing...

Wise ones - hoping you can help.

I need the Custom Tables & Advanced Statistics Users add on. I'm happy to pay for it.

The problem is that when I go to "Add to plan" to add this onto my Subscription, it is greyed out and does not let me select it. So far I have tried:

  • Asking the Chatbot (did not know the answer)
  • Opening a case with Product support (but they closed the case saying they could not help)
  • Calling the phone number provided (only to speak to the customer service person who informed me that they could not help)
  • Sending an email to call@ca.ibm.com with my query (no response)
  • Submitted a contact request 6 days ago (however all this does is send me an automated email each day which says that an IBM Sales representative will contact me...and they have not).

Any other suggestions on how I could escalate this to solve this issue? I'm thinking that this really should not be this difficult...

Hi @Kate Cole, sorry you are having difficulties purchasing Custom Tables. I agree this shouldn't be a difficult task. I have relayed your question on to our Product Management team and we should hear back within 24 hours.

Hi @Kate Cole, I checked with Product Management and they said you should be able to file a ticket here: https://myibm.ibm.com/support/. Our product support team regularly transfers tickets to the Marketplace support team so I’m not sure why this couldn’t happen in your case. Please let us know here if the above process doesn't work for you.

Hi @Curtis Browning and @Sue Hammes, thank you so much for responding! Unfortunately the issue still remains.

I filed a ticket as suggested and I was contacted by eCustomer Care. They explained that the issue was that my IBM customer number was not ready in the system. I was told that the customer maintenance team would reach out to ask for missing information on my registration (e.g. name, address VAT), and that that info was needed to continue using the product and to purchase Add Ons.

I replied that I had not been contacted by IBM with regards to this. I provided the requested information to the eCustomer Care team but I was told again to wait to be contacted (I have not been contacted).

I called the Australian phone number for IBM Sales, but it directs to a voice mail. I left a VM with my phone number...but no response.

Do you have any other suggestions on how I may purchase the Add On? I purchased IBS SPSS Statistics more than 2 weeks ago now...
