Multiple instances of same dimension in picklist

Question

When adding a Cloudability dimension to a plan, sometimes the same field is listed multiple times (i.e. vendor or environment). These fields may come from a tag, the bill, or a business dimension). Is there a way to tell where the field comes from since the values may be not same (even though it has the same name such as vendor or environment that values may be different from the billing vs business dimension).

That's a bug (it will be fixed). The dimension picker should list dimensions organized by category (Account Group, Business Dimensions, Tags, Vendor), but doesn’t right now. Showing those dimensions under their category grouping would disambiguate the names. (Note that we currently show the category groupings in the Cost Object dimension picker, but just not in the other dimension picker).
