 Mac Sequoia with an M2 chip

Hello. I have tried every which way I can find to install and use ACS on my new Macbook Pro. I am running Sequoia with an Apple M2 chip. The application will install but will not open. I installed the IBM Semuru java and the unixODBC. Any suggestions - (I am a Mac novice)?

I ended up using an older installation I had on another computer.

Hi Renee,

I have a MacBook Air M1 with Sequoia, and experienced the same issue. 

After testing different scenarios, I could make it work with this JDK:

openjdk 11.0.25 2024-10-15 LTS

OpenJDK Runtime Environment Corretto-11.0.25.9.1 (build 11.0.25+9-LTS)

OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM Corretto-11.0.25.9.1 (build 11.0.25+9-LTS, mixed mode)
