 License Activation

I am a student at Walden University, and they provide a license code:  ​​

I have followed the instructions in the license wizard, but no luck getting the license activated. I emailed the provided address and got the response back with license string. This gets the same reponse that no active license exists. This is for SPSS. 

Please help.

If Walden University provided your Authorization code, then it is really Walden University you should be talking to.

From your description it sounds like your activations steps are correct and that everything is functioning as designed.  However, it may be that the authcode you applied does not match the product or version of the actual product you have installed. 

If you are installing IBM SPSS Statistics 32.0.0.0, ask your Walden administrator to supply you with a valid authorization code for that product and release.

Also, be sure you are logged in as a local administrator when you run the License Authorization Wizard (law.exe) or  the "licenseactivator.exe" from command line.  Like installing, licensing is an administrator task and you need administrator credentials in order to update the underlying license file.
