 KTAP ISSUE

We have one powerpc server with AIX.

aix-7.2 TL05 SP06.

Once OS was upgraded to this Service Pack Level and server rebooted, KTAP stopped working i.e. loading.

On browsing KTAP-LOGs, find the line.

KTAP  identified that OS vendor version has been upgraded. KTAP will not load until KTAP is upgraded to the new os version.

While KTAP IS on same version i.e. AIX-7.2

For AIX, No such list available.

There are too many unknowns here. AIX typically doesn't require a special KTAP. I don't know what version your STAP is or the version of your appliances. And there are many other logs to review to see what is going on. You might want to dig around on Fix Central specifically for the version of Guardium you are on, OS AIX and then look for an appropriate STAP. Review the STAP notes to confirm your version of AIX is covered. Or you can open a support ticket and they can help review your logs to see what else might be going on.

This one works for me.

You may want to post the error message from the central_logger.log  indicating the error message. Also look for the newer compatible STAP/KTAP from the fix central.
