I am new to this product. I am trying to install version 9.2.39 on a RHEL 9 sever with GUI. When I run the setup-server script, I keep getting "JRE libraries are missing or not compatible..." What am I missing? I have a compatible version installed. I have read through the install procedures for interactive and silent mode and no mater what I try I get the same results. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Installer will fail with "JRE libraries are missing or not compatible" in case of two scenarios :

  1. not enough space in your default temporary directory: /tmp,
  2. /tmp was set to noexec (insufficient privileges)

Solution to both is presented in our doc: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/license-metric-tool/9.2.0?topic=problems-installation-upgrade
Installation cannot be started, because the /tmp directory has the NOEXEC or NOSUID flag.
