 Java VM not found

Hi,

When I try to open SPSS I see a message SPSS Client error, Java VM not found. After some clicks it's saying a memory problem. I followed some past questions here and downloaded again SPSS SEMRU JRE but when I try to install it's saying that the folder LICENSE already exists. What should I do in this case, please?

Hi @Renata da Costa,

Of the times I have seen this error message, they have almost invariably been the result of a corrupted installation and the clearest resolution was to completely uninstall all instances of IBM SPSS Statistics and then install the latest release.

Here are two technotes pertaining to that process:

I had done already an upload of JRE directly from Java website and it worked. Now I see the JRE subfolder in the SPSS one. Thanks anyway.
