 Is webmethods Integration Server 11.1 compatible with MySQL 8.4 LTS ?

The official documentation states that Integration Server 11.1 is compatible with MySQL 8.0. However, our customer wants to use MySQL 8.4 since it is LTS. So, is wM IS 11.1 compatible with MySQL 8.4 ? Since version 8.4 is not specifically mentioned in the official documentation.

After discussing with the product team, they only certify major versions like 5.x, 8.x, etc. Any minor versions should also be supported.

Hello,

I think the best thing is to give it a try or contact directly IBM webMethods support. I tried locally with MySql 9.2 with MWS but it did not work due to configuration issues :

2025-03-25 15:29:04,058 ERROR [sql.PooledConnectionProvider                                ] - Cannot load database driver: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver cannot be found by com.webmethods.caf.server_11.1.0.0002-0060

I performed all what have been said in the documentation but always failing.
