Hi Team. I wanted to bring to your attention an issue we have encountered with the recently implemented disconnected ILMT for our virtual Datapower servers. It seems that ILMT is reporting an incorrect PVU factor, and I'm trying to understand the cause of this discrepancy.

Could you please let me know if there's a specific configuration we need to adjust within ILMT to correct this issue? Additionally, if you have any insights into what might be causing this discrepancy, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Hi Daniela,

I'm unsure about the problem you're stating with the data the ILMT disconnected scanner collects. However, either of the following would require a service case.

  • Is it reporting incorrect details in the "tlm_hw_xxx.xml file, which describes the component, physical processors, virtual guest, and LPAR?
  • Is it reporting incorrect details in the "list.txt" file, which states what's being counted by their swidtag?
