Support -

Inquiring if ILMT supports AES-256 encryption?

Unable to find what version of AES is used in the ILMT support documents.

If it does not support AES-256, when will AES-256 be supported in ILMT?

Asking as AES-128 and AES-192 are deprecated encryptions in our environment.

Thank you,

Hello,

ILMT uses different algorithms for different purposes.

As far as AES is concerned (mostly for storing keystore/database passwords) it uses AES128.
AES256 will be used by default starting from Liberty 25.0.0.2 (probably embedded by ILMT 9.2.41 or later).
