I am encountering an intermittent crash in IBM Rational Rhapsody version 8.3.1, where the application unexpectedly terminates and closes without generating any crash logs or diagnostic files while clicking the Feature option and Simulation under UseCaseAnalysisPkg Diagrams. As a result, we have no trace of the underlying cause of the failure.
We have confirmed that all Cygwin packages, including the GCC compiler, are installed correctly and the integration paths (e.g., via Cygwinmake.bat) are properly configured.
We have enabled logging settings for Rhapsody, such as the file names for the log files, are defined in the rhapsody.properties file. Nonetheless, the application continues to crash, and no log data is available to assist with debugging.

To address this, I would like to reach out to the IBM Community for help. Could we please post a question or provide details in the appropriate community forum? Here are some key points to include:
Exact Rhapsody version: 8.3.1
Nature of the issue: application crashes without any logs or crash dumps
This image depicts the crashing during clicking the Feature for UseCaseAnalysisPkg.
Cygwin integration setup: confirmed installation, path validated for Cygwin installation
Steps already taken: attempted log configuration, runtime monitoring, elevated permissions, etc.

Any guidance from community members—or even pointers to relevant threads or official IBM resources—would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not yet sure, whether I do understand the question, since there is a little ambiguity:
- is it the Rhapsody application itself, which is crashing?
- or is it the Rhapsody generated application, built using Cygwin, which is crashing?
