I was trying to find all my blog posts in the "Bill, the TBM Guy" series, and I'm having trouble finding them all.
Only once did I see a search mask that allowed me to select only blog postsβ€”and now I cannot find that filter anymore.
All other searches I run, including going to my profile / my contributions / list of contributions displays everything I have written (comments, replies, etc.)β€”not to mention, that I have to click four times to get to that list.
The hashtags don't seem to help either.
Maybe the wonderful gurus here can help me in figuring out what I'm doing wrong (@Rhonda Keller, @Lauren Pagan )

@Guillermo Cuadrado @Rhonda Keller I think I have figured it out.

If you look at the link that Rhonda posted: https://community.apptio.com/blogs/guillermo-cuadrado1.  You will see that some of the blogs do not have a tag but others do.  The blog titled 'Bill and TBM Data' had a tag but it doesn't look like it was selected from the drop down menu.  When you go to type the tag you will see a drop down menu populate.  Be sure to select the tag from the drop down menu so that the tag is added to the blog.  You can check this by posting the blog and seeing if the tag has the orange link or not like in the second screen shot below.

Hi Guillermo :-)

You can find your blogs with the URL https://community.apptio.com/blogs/guillermo-cuadrado1

I don't know why  #bill the tbm guy isn't working. @Lauren Pagan can you investigate? I noticed other tags on Guillermo's blogs that did work.

Thanks for the tips, ladies. I'm slowly reworking the blog entries.
There's something strange, though: if I start typing "#bill-the-tbm-guy" (without the quotes), I do get a drop down with TWO entries:
##bill-the-tbm-guy (user created)
and
#bill the tbm guy (migrated, admin only)
I believe I created the latter in the previous system and the former in the current one. The thing is that, unsurprisingly enough, that I cannot select the migrated one.
Also, at least in Chrome, entering tags is tricky: one faux pas, and you lost it. The system no longer recognizes the text as a tag.

On a slightly related topic: I am unable to update the "Bill and Cloud Applications" post (link). Chrome hangs when I click on the Edit button.

Oh!  That is weird with the tags, I will investigate and get back to you soon.  For editing the blog, I just tried to edit it and it never loads the page for me to edit it.  I am hoping this is just a fluke and when I try again tomorrow to edit it, I will be able to.  I will reply back tomorrow and let you know if I am still unable to edit the blog.

To prevent further efforts, I have created a new blog post with the contents of the old one.
Thanks for your help!

I am sorry you had to make a new post!  It is really odd that it wasn't letting us edit it.  Let me know if you run into that again.

@Guillermo Cuadrado I couldn't resolve the "##" in the tag so I have reached out to our platform support.  I will keep you updated as I know more.

@Guillermo Cuadrado I am happy to give you an update that there are no longer two "##" hash tags for 'bill the tbm guy' tag and the migrated tag option is gone. πŸ™‚

Hello @Lauren Pagan and @Rhonda Keller!  I'm jumping on to see if you know how to find my old blogs, too.  I have been looking for a few old ones and can't find them.  I used a similar link (https://community.apptio.com/blogs/jenny-franklin1), but appears there's only one there (the only one I've posted on the new platform).  Do you know how I would find my blog posts from the old Jive platform?  Thank you so much!! πŸ˜Šβ€‹

@Jenny Franklin I did some investigating and I am also only seeing one blog associated with your account.  I was able to find the articles below that you posted.  Do you think the missing blogs were a different content type that you posted vs blogs?  In the old platform we had the following content types: blogs, discussions, questions, documents, videos.

If I do not reply for a bit, I am on PTO but will be back next week. :)

Thank you, @Lauren Pagan!  Unfortunately, it looks like I may have lost them.  They were indeed blog posts under the 'Jenny's Blog' section I had previously.  Oh well - all good - will create more, I'm sure! πŸ˜πŸ€—β€‹

Oh no @Jenny Franklin that isn't good. I hate to lose any of your original contributions. We do have one grasp at straws effort we could try. Right before they shut off Jive the vendor gave us a massive data dump of everything that was there. It's like the worlds biggest notepad file πŸ˜› and has to be imported into a database to comb through. If there's a specific post you'd have trouble recreating and you remember any key words, we could give it a shot. I remember one of yours that was very popular, and included a template for documenting your environment. Surely at least that attachment made it over here.

Thank you, @Rhonda Keller!  From what I can remember, there were blogs about dirty data, documenting the model, and monthly reviews.  There were a lot more than that, but I can't remember - probably most of it centered around R11 anyway.  If you're able to load a copy of the database onto one of the training sites and give me access somehow, I'm happy to help comb through.  The name of my blog space was "Jenny's Blog", so anything tied to that really.  Thank you again!πŸ™Œ

That helps @Jenny Franklin thank you. This is a "going into the attic" project so it will take a while but I've put it on our to do list so it won't get lost.
