 Help with resseting a node canister from a Storwize v3700

Hello,

I need help to reset my node canister... I got it from my entreprise. I am not the original owner. My coworker told me they did relocate some node to other storwize before throwing out them.

It show a error 503 (CMMVC8004E Cannot execute on a node with a location error with Initialization tool from IBM), can't reset it from maintenance gui, and I can't acces management gui. Tried to remove CMOS a,d battery for 2 hours from both canister and put it back but it says again error 503.

Any idea ? I would pay to get the awnser...

have you tried access via the service screen on https://ip address/service

Try putting in a USB key a text file named satask.txt with these command in it (one at a time) :

satask chenclosurevpd -resetclusterid

satask resetpassword 

fi you need to reset the ip :

satask chserviceip -serviceip ipv4 [ -gw ipv4 ] [ -mask ipv4 ] [ -resetpassword ]

The put the key into a usb port on the V3700
