 Forecast Model Used For Baseline

What forecast model is used to generate the baseline in Cloudability Financial Planning tool? In Cloudability, you can select the amount of history of historical data that will be used for a forecast, but I did not see that option in the Financial Planning tool.

Hi Thomas - 

My apologies for the delay in responding.   Currently, the forecast model looks at fixed amount of historical actuals - the last 12 months of actuals (or as many months up to 12 months that you have in Cloudability).  

Going forward, we want to give you more options and control over the generated forecast.  We will do this by allowing you to pick the range of actuals that you want to use - for example, use last years actuals or the prior 12 months actuals - and specify which Transaction Types to include/exclude (e.g. exclude Credits and 1-time charges).

Hi @Thomas Schuman just wanted to let you know we haven't forgotten about this. We sent a little extra nudge today to see if we can get a response to your question here.  As it's a beta/new product, not everyone on the team is fully experienced with it so we're trying to get the right eyes on it and get and answer here so we can all learn.
