I try to make a report in PDF with a header and a footer.

The header is nicely a the top of the page, but the footer is right at the end of the content.

Is there a way to fix a footer at the bottom of the page?

If the footer is placed inside the report body (for example, in a block or a list footer), it will appear right after the last content item not at the physical bottom of the page.

Use the Right Footer for the Job

Page Footer > Always stays at the bottom of every page.

List Page / Overall Footer > Appears inside a list, it won’t sit at the bottom of the page unless you use layout tricks like full height containers.

To Keep Something Fixed at the Bottom of the Page

Use the Page Footer band

Go to Headers & Footers > Page Footer and place your content there. This is the only guaranteed way to keep it at the bottom of every PDF page.

For list totals or summary sections

Wrap your list in a block.

Set the block’s Height = 100% (Properties > Size & Overflow).

Inside that block, add another block for your footer content and align it to the bottom using vertical alignment or padding.

Thanks Abbas,

I already use the page footer, but still it appears right after the content. Now I use a lot of padding to direct the footer to the bottom of the page.

But this is not userfriendly when you have to do that on every page.
