Question

I understand my inquiry may be premature but taking a shot and asking. With Apptio Cloudability as a contributor of the Linux Foundation project (FOCUS), has the community been made aware of insights to how the product is going to align to FOCUS, what’s on the roadmap, or other details worth noting at this time?

As you said, we are closely involved and we're in a number of working groups. Given it's a bit early days in terms of source data and CSP participation (Azure does have a preview coming), we don't have concrete timing on specific elements of support. We can say we are interested in supporting ingress of non-CSP source data in FOCUS format as part of Cloudability Total Cost (e.g., Snowflake) in 2024, and are also experimenting with ways you could view your costs from a FOCUS lens throughout Cloudability if you prefer. Details and timing are TBD.
