 Error Message - PRS-BKP-0053 when rendering the Data Source Connection tab

Getting this error on 11.2.4. The data source connections test successfully and reports that use the connections are successful. But ... getting this error when clicking on the IBM Cognos Administration -> Configuration -> Click on any of our 20 different data sources -> Set Properties -> Connection Tab. The screen should look like the second screen print below. But instead we get an error message.  There is nothing in the logs. Any help would be appreciated.

PRS-BKP-0053 - javax.xml.transform.TransformerConfigurationException : jd.xml.xslt.parser.XsltParseException: xsl:text must not have child elements (baseUri='xts://render_page' Element=xsl:text (line 963))

Hi Brenda,


Because I believe you've tested this issue with another browser, or from another computer. Just a guess, do you have a style other than Cognos styles.

To check it, click from IBM Cognos Administration in My Preferences. Verify what is your syle:

If you have a style not listed in here, change this style to Business for instance and retry your test.
