 Error 1 When Performing Analysis in SPSS 30

Hi, 

I am running a correlation (proximity) operation in SPSS which is generating the following error message.

>Error # 1.  Command name: PROXIMITIES 
>The first word in the line is not recognized as an SPSS Statistics command. 
>Execution of this command stops.

I have performed analysis on the same data file on a previous version of SPSS without any issue. Unfortunately I dont have access to the earlier version and obtained license for the most recent version, and am now facing this problem. 

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions anyone may have on how i can resolve this issue.
