That’s a common ask and we are changing the way that the %-based adjustments work going forward to support a proportional allocation model.
To illustrate, I entered 10% increase for Q1 in the table below (highlighted in blue). Rather than use the same percentage for each month, we will first calculate the 10% increase (amount) for Q1, then spread that amount evenly across the periods, then re-calc the corresponding percentage for each period. This results in %s that reflect the proportional monthly change to evenly spread a 10% increase in the Q1 baseline amount.
