Hello Community,

anybody aware where I can find the new dmctop for Db2 12.1 CSB50594?

Hi Joachin!

AFAIK - you need to open PMR - this is notorious that DMCTOP is not updated whenever new version of Db2 is released. Did you try DMCTOP from Db2 V12.1 GA?

Hi Jan,

Yes, I had already asked about the Db2 EAP, where the dmctop was also not supplied for this version.
I had thought that dmctop would be delivered with 12.1.
db2top is still working... ;-)

Let's see if the dmctop development team gets in touch here in the community.

I have installed Special_50594 into my VM and DMCTOP  - as supplied with special_50594 - is working fine. You must have used older DMCTOP.

which dmctop
/db2/db2bet/sqllib/bin/dmctop

dmctop -v
dmctop 1.0.3.0

Hi Joachim!

Sorry - I foolishly assumed that whatever was build for Linux or Windows - would also be build for AIX the same way - I underestimated IBM ability to complicate things.

Did you try to lookup fixes for Data Management Console on Fix Central?

Apparently you will need DMCTOP 1.0.4.2.* for Aix. Perhaps Cynthia can shed some light on this build puzzle?
