Delete baseline line items?

Question

When you create a new plan, it is automatically populated with baseline line items based upon our prior spending. Can we delete line items? Example, we know that a service will no longer be used moving forward, and we do not want our users to forecast/make adjustments against that service.

We have two features planned to address this use-case, one is Import/Export and the other is Baseline Edits.

Coming soon (in Beta2), we will support Baseline import and export. This means you can export out the Baseline line items to Excel, delete off any rows that you don’t want to include in the upcoming forecast, and re-import the changes back in as your new Baseline. This is a workaround approach until we support true Baseline Edits.

With Baseline Edits, you will be able to make edits to the Baseline rows (modify and delete) just like you can on the Adjustments tab. However, only Plan Owners will be able to edit baseline line-items; Shared Users (user that have been granted access to edit the plan) will not be able to edit baseline line-items, only Adjustment line-items.
