 Default Cost Metrics (Jan 17 release) - inconsistent operation?

When the Default Cost Metrics for Organization feature was released, I dove in and set most things to Amortized.  It was great to see True Cost Explorer, Containers, Reports, etc. finally default to the more meaningful metric to my organization.  But... it doesn't always work, or so it seems.  In particular, navigating away from True Cost, then navigating back, opens with "Cash" instead of "Amortized".  Same with Containers.

Are others experiencing the same behaviour or is this unique to my environment?  Or do I have misplaced expectations?

I thought I'd ask here before opening a support case.  @Sinchana Hegde FYI.

Hello @Eugene Girolimetto, Here is the answer I got from one of the product owners:

Under Organization Settings, they can set how they want the data to default for them when they open features in CLDY.
Refer attached screenshot(image).

Thanks @Lalitha Ganapathy.  Yes, those settings are what I was referring to.  I have set them.  And the first time I enter a feature, it honours those settings.  For example, True Cost Explorer comes up with Amortized by default.  This is good.

But then, I'll go visit Anomaly Detection, maybe peek at the Scorecards, then review my Reservation Portfolio.  Then return to True Cost Explorer -- still showing Amortized, good.

Then go visit Rightsizing Explorer, maybe check a View definition.  Then go back to True Cost Explorer and it comes up with Cash instead of Amortized.

It's like the Org Settings were suddenly forgotten.

Log out, start a new session, it's all back to the preferred settings -- until the cycle happens again.

Also, when I'm in True Cost Explorer viewing data on Amortized Cost basis, and I click to View Top Line Items, it puts Cost (Total) insted of Cost (Amortized) in the generated report.

My default settings for True Cost and for Reports are both set to Amortized.
