 Cost Transparency setup + BI

Situation:
I am planning to integrate a new Alibaba Cloud dataset through Apptio Cost Transparency and then generate BI reports using the new dataset.

I am relatively new to the TBM setup and currently exploring how our existing TBM system was configured for Alibaba Cloud Control Tower 1. At the moment, I can see the Control Tower 1 dataset available in Apptio BI (Data Source and Measures) and I am able to create reports from it.

I have now received a new project where I need to onboard Alibaba Cloud Control Tower 2 into the same TBM setup, so that:

  • The new Control Tower 2 data is integrated into Cost Transparency, and
  • A new dataset becomes available in Apptio BI → Data Source and Measures for reporting.

Could someone please guide me on:

  1. How to onboard and configure a new Alibaba Cloud Control Tower in Cost Transparency?
  2. How I can review or understand how Control Tower 1 was originally configured (data ingestion, mappings, allocations)?

Any guidance, documentation, or best‑practice references would be greatly appreciated.
