 Concert Java App Discovery - WAS?

Hello,

Some clarifications about Concert Java Application Discovery workflow are needed. Java App discovery Workflow only identifies:

  • Java applications supported by auto-discovery workflow are spring boot applications with embedded Apache Tomcat?
  • Applications running on standalone Apache Tomcat via JMX and those using the JDK

Any updates or info regarding java app discovery workflow would be great. If I say "only spring boot apps with embedded tomcat and java apps running on standalone tomcat (via JMX and those using JDK)" are supported by Java App Discovery workflow, will it be correct?  Applications running on IBM WAS on a VM (>8.5.x) not supported?

Documentation updates are coming soon, but here's the word:

The java flow for v2.3 currently supports Java Apps based on:
  • Tomcat JMX
  • Springboot apps with embedded Tomcat
  • Java apps with JDK
  • JBoss Applications
  • WAS Liberty applications and openliberty
Support for WAS Traditional is coming with v2.4
