Hey there,

I am new to turbonomic so i am wondering if i can use Policies to resize up my  VMs during peak time without schedule meaning i create the policies select my VMs and during any peak time it resize up.

i am wondering if that possible.

Yes, the policies have a schedule for when they are valid and an execution schedule. So, if you do not put an execution schedule on the policy then it will be implemented as soon as the action is generated by the analysis (or someone clicks on it and hits "Execute" in the GUI if the policy is not set to full automation).

Yes, you can setup policies to resize up but hot add should be enabled on the VM so it will not restart during the business hours
