IBM Cloud Satellite: Taking IBM Cloud Anywhere Webinar

When:  Jul 22, 2020 from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM (ET)

Join us for this live webinar to learn about taking the IBM Cloud anywhere with IBM® Cloud® Satellite™  with edge computing experts Dave Tropeano and Vanessa Wilburn.

Who should attend?

Organizations are experiencing fragmented visibility; inconsistent user experiences; and significant complexity in application consumption, deployment and management. Coming later this year, IBM® Cloud® Satellite™ gives you the ability to use IBM Cloud services anywhere — on IBM Cloud, on-premises or at the edge — delivered as a service from a single pane of glass controlled through the public cloud.

In this webinar you will learn:

  • What is distributed cloud computing?
  • Industry case studies
  • IBM’s approach to distributed cloud, step-by-step
  • How IBM Cloud Satellite benefits specific enterprise roles

Vanessa Wilburn, Speaker
Vanessa Wilburn
Program Director, Cloud Product Management

Five-year veteran in cloud computing, specifically containers and Kubernetes. My goal is to make clients successful in their cloud experiences: onboarding, trial, ongoing engagement, and expansion.  To that end, I guide product design and development to build cloud products that match user needs and help them evolve with the fast-paced open source communities. So you might find me teaching use cases, connecting developers to business leaders, or designing usability tests, personas, and prototypes. Moreover, I derive analytics and business insight for cloud usage across the portfolio. Key technologies include Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Containers, IAM, chatbots, and Istio.
