  • 1.  How to set the time zone in PASE on IBM i

    Hi,

    we have the system value QTIMZON set accordingly but our Java application running in PASE on IBM i doesn't get the same time zone as defined in QTIMZON. It seems that the TZ environment variable can be used to set the time zone appropriately in PASE. But how do I set the time zone in PASE on a system level?

    I can set the time zone (TZ env var) an a job level but then I would have to do that for every job/program separately. I want to set this once on a system level ... but where?

    No. That doesn't help. As I have said: I want to set the time zone globally on the system (PASE enviroment) not for a single job / application.

    We are not using an application server. We have several Java application which are started separately and don't run in WebSphere.
