Yes, the EN24/EN26 supports vNIC.
Yes, the hypervisor memory requirement for an EN24/EN26 configured in SR-IOV shared mode is approximately 45GB. Each port requires a pool of resources. The increase in number of ports increased the pool resources.
Does EN24/EN26 adapter support vNIC ?
Page 9 of SR-IOV FAQ says:

Is 45GB error or EN24/26 used that much memory ?
