  • 1.  vNIC options missing in HMC Collection

    Hello everyone,

    I have noticed that there are a few important
    functions missing in the Ansible HMC Collection (https://galaxy.ansible.com/ui/repo/published/ibm/power_hmc)

    It is not possible to use the Advaned vNIC settings.
    This is used by many customers.
    A very important function is:

    VLAN ID Restictions = Deny all
    Port VLAN ID = VLAN xx

    additional:

    Set OS Mac Address Restrictions = Deny all
    MAC Address: 11:22:33:44:55:66


    Additionally, the priority of vNIC Backint device is missing. Default is 50
    However, you want to distribute the load across two VIO servers and unfortunately this is not possible with the collection.

    Hey Andre,

    very good point! That should be added to the hmc collection and I would prefer to open an issue on Github too.

    It should be there now. @Niklas Vosskoetter 
    But I haven't tried it out yet.
