We use MariaDB and it works very very well. I noticed MariaDB hasn't been updated in 2years which is at 10.4.26. Currently we are using version 10.5.9 when BullFreeware was in business. MariaDB itself is at 11.5.2. Do you have any plans to bring it up to date ?

Oh, that's unfortunate. Do you have any suggestions for alternatives for a MySql client on AIX?
Cheers

We are not pursuing community-mysql in AIX Toolbox any more.

Hello, any update on this topic? I understand OpenSSL with FIPS is available, and I too would like to use MySql with OpenSSL 3.0 and TLS 1.3, but version 8.0.20-2 from dnf still requires 1.0.2.
Cheers

As per community outlook, we will be able to provide openSSL 3.0 version support by Q2 2021 which will have TLS 1.3 support
