    Hi Team,

    I am not able to update the packages with DNF update command on the server, Getting following error. Please suggest.

    Hi,

    Like mentioned on the topic, I assume U R running on AIX 7.2 server ?

    However , your  /opt/freeware/etc/dnf/dnf.conf seems to be referring to AIX 7.1 specific repo:

    /# /opt/freeware/bin/dnf update -y 
    AIX generic repository                                                                                                                                                         7.2 MB/s |  20 MB     00:02    
    AIX noarch repository                                                                                                                                                          2.6 MB/s | 3.3 MB     00:01    
    AIX 7.1 specific repository                                                                                                                                                    1.2 MB/s | 1.1 MB     00:00    

    So please fix  /opt/freeware/etc/dnf/dnf.conf to refer to AIX 7.2 repo instead of AIX 7.1:

    Change part:

    [AIX_Toolbox_71]
    name=AIX 7.1 specific repository
    baseurl=https://<YOUR SATELLITE PATH HERE>/aix-toolbox/ppc-7.1/
    enabled=1

    to:

    [AIX_Toolbox_72]
    name=AIX 7.2 specific repository
    baseurl=https://<YOUR SATELLITE PATH HERE>/aix-toolbox/ppc-7.2/
    enabled=1

    and the retest
