    Thanks for the question.

Currently Last Activated Profile for the partition can be viewed as a click card. The click card can be visible upon click on the icon i, displayed next to partition name in the partition table view. Refer to the attached image for example.

Please let me know if this answers your question.

    Thanks

    Dipak

    Thanks for the reply.

We will add support for Last Activated Profile to be displayed in the table view in future release. The reorder of sequence of the columns displayed in the table view will be supported in the upcoming HMC 870 release.

    Thanks,

Could you please be more specific: "Last Activated Profile display" feature is going to be added in which future release?

This is the key item in our environment helping us identify LPARs (i.e. profile name contains hostname, while the LPAR name is used for other type of identificator that is not

so user friendly, so to say).

I've been looking at an alternative solution - use Description field instead. But this field seems to be local to the HMC, and is a pain point in dual-HMC environment. I didn't find a CLI command to change

the Description field either. It's probably understandable that manually clickditing this field on two HMCs is rather annoying and not actually an option.

    Thank you

Description is a UI-only field, which is why you don't see any CLI option to view or modify it.
