    Hi Matthew;

Installed 3.1.3.10 to our Dev env about a week ago; havent noticed anything suspicious so far, Installation went without errors..no errpt entries etc...but of course not many client VMs behind there, so hard to detect if there would be  some SEA performance issues etc..

    Br,

No problems so far. Running it on four servers in a test environment with about 50 LPARs over the last month, and in production on eight servers with about 120 LPARS. Only anomaly is that it now set a restricted kernel tunable, but I assume that is intended :)

SEA based network with underlying LACP portchannel, and NPIV clients.

I'm still waiting for VIOS 3.1.2.30, which is supposed to include the
fix for IJ31936 (HIPER NPIV issues).

    https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/subscriptions/onvdq?mode=18&ID=6969

I'd rather have a release than floating efixes.

Though the APAR document indicates 3.1.2.30 will include the fix,
FixCentral doesn't show that available yet.

Hello, 3 days ago I installed 2 x S922 with this VIO version. With AIX 7.1 TL5 SP8 and Oracle LPARs (NIM AIX 7.2). No problems found so far.

We have seen many customer upgrade to VIOS 3.1.3.10 without any issues on their p8/p9 systems.  Is there anything specific that you want to know about VIOS 3.1.3.10

How timely. Just got a series of notifications regarding LACP and CAA
on VIO and PowerHA. VIO 3.1.3.0 through 3.1.3.10 are affected.

    https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6507119?myns=swgother&mynpOCSSPHKW&mync=E&cm_sp=swgother-_-OCSSPHKW-_-E

High Impact / Highly Pervasive APAR IJ35577

    Abstract:

Etherchannel failure with CAA and LACP

    Description:

Environments that use CAA, including PowerHA and VIOS Shared Storage Pools
(SSP), with Etherchannel adapters configured to use Link Aggregation Control
Protocol (LACP), can experience network outages.
