  • 1.  Error while upgrading curl using dnf.

    Hello, 

    I'm attempting to update a new install of AIX 7.2 and I recently used the AIX tool box install script to setup dnf and am attempting to upgrade curl but I'm getting an error on one of the dependencies libstdcplusplus10-10.3.0-6.aix7.2.ppc.rpm

    I am not familiar with this process, or the error, so I'm hoping someone who knows more is able to help.

    I realized that while I had what appeared to be enough space in /var because that is where dnf places the downloaded packages, it was not enough to carry out the task of downloading these packages.  

    I've increased the space in /var and this resolved my problem
