AIX Open Source

We have the SMB V3.0.2 client installed on AIX 7200-05-06-2320.  How do we enable the SMB protocol to be encrypted?  We tried adding encryption=required to the mount, but it fails.  We get the usual non-descript error that is below.

There was an error connecting the share or the server.
Make sure the lsdev command shows that device nsmbc0 is in
the Available state.  Also make sure that the share name,
user name and password are accurate.

I am very happy to report that once the change was made to the shares on Windows so that they were set to be encrypted they both mounted on AIX without any issues.  Thank-you to all the folks involved in porting the SMB client to AIX.
