  • 1.  dnf install error dependancies

    trying to install dnf with dnf_aixtoolbox.sh -y and getting errors, libnss3.so is needed by rpmlibs32-4.15.1.0-32_2.ppc. Do I need to install libnss3 manually but cant find rpm package anywhere.

    error: Failed dependencies:
            libnss3.so is needed by rpmlibs32-4.15.1.0-32_2.ppc

    dnf installation failed.

    here's what I see on my system:

    $ ls -l /usr/lib/libnss3.so
    lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     system           27 Nov 30 2022  /usr/lib/libnss3.so -> /usr/opt/rpm/lib/libnss3.so

    $ lslpp -w /usr/opt/rpm/lib/libnss3.so
      File                                        Fileset               Type
      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
      /usr/opt/rpm/lib/libnss3.so                 rpm.rte               File
