  • 1.  SUDO package is not working.

    We are recently installed the SUDO package on AIX 7.2 TL2 on customer production environment but we faced some issue as:

    ******************************************************************************************
    udo: error in /etc/sudo.conf, line 0 while loading plugin "sudoers_policy"
    sudo: unable to load /opt/freeware/libexec/sudo/sudoers.so: 0509-022 Cannot load module /opt/freeware/libexec/sudo/sudoers.so.
    0509-150 Dependent module libldap.a(libldap-2.4.so.2) could not be loaded.
    0509-022 Cannot load module libldap.a(libldap-2.4.so.2).
    0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.
    0509-022 Cannot load module /opt/freeware/libexec/sudo/sudoers.so.
    0509-150 Dependent module /opt/freeware/libexec/sudo/sudoers.so could not be loaded.
    sudo: fatal error, unable to load plugins

    Please help-out us in this regards.

    Hi

    I had the same problem. If you are downloading sudo from AIX toolbox please downlaod the sudo_noldap-1.9.5p2

    But I already installed same package , please guide me should I re-installaed the RPM package?

    Hi

    Hmmm, do you have any rpm package relate to uso installed ?? if so, i rather deinstall and then install this one with no ldap support.

    Hi,

    I encountered errors too after updating the package; but I think when I ran /usr/sbin/updtvpkg > sudo started working again normally.

    I run 'updtvpkg' but no luck, same issue:
