Where can I find the jdk 17.0.8.1 installation package in zip format.

I want to install the latest 17 jdk, I can find the 17.0.8.1 rpm and tar.gz packages below link, but I am looking for the zip format. The package name is similar to ibm-semeru-certified-jdk_ppc64_aix_17.0.8.0-installmgr.zip. Currently, only 17.0.8.0 latest zip format can be found for installation.

I did a Google search with "tar.gz convert zip" and found several web sites offering the converter untility.  They appear to be free.

Thanks for your reply, this advice does not apply. Simple conversion package format is not what I need, because different format package content is not the same, zip format is installed through repository.xml

On the Semru site there is a warning that IBM is going to discontinue the Install Anywhere images in 2024, maybe they've decided to jump the gun ?

In any case, you should always use RPM for a generic (system-wide) installation, and the tar.gz for the per-app installations.

From a security perspective, you should never use an online converter.  It can be legitimate, but you have no way of knowing.

Thank you for your reply. I saw in several IBM product manuals that the software installation is JDK installed in IBM repository. This online repository is converted into local through Packaging Utility, which is the zip format I mentioned above. You can't log in with W3id. rpm and tar.gz packages to install the jdk I'm not sure if it can be called directly by DB2, MQ, IHS, etc middleware
