This is a step-by-step description migrating SAP ERP 6 systems based on an IBM Db2 database e.g.  from on-premises to PowerVS is available in IBM Cloud documentation.
 
Two alternative approaches are documented:
  1. less complicated approach using standard administration commands, which needs a longer downtime and
  2. downtime-optimised migration approach using IBM Db2 HADR technology
