Here is the list of labs for Power portfolio in the Infrastructure Track

Title Abstract
Shell Scripting Masterclass for Unix/Linux admins In this lab, we will provide you with practical tips and best practices to help you master the art of shell scripting on Linux/Unix systems. Our aim is to help you write effective scripts that will make your life easier as a Linux/Unix administrator. Additionally, we will share advanced techniques to take your scripting skills to the next level.
Creating Power Virtual Server  on the IBM Cloud This session  will walk through provisioning and navigating an IBM Power System Virtual Server environment. You will familiarize yourself with terminology for VMs, subnets, storage,  and images. Afterwards, you'll go through the process of configuring a PowerVS instance and deploying an AIX or Linux VM.

This session will be conducted by the co-author of the recent Redbook IBM Power Systems Virtual Server Guide for IBM AIX and Linux.
IBM PowerVC and OpenStack: A Hands-on Introduction (Part 1 of 3) Join us for this exciting journey into the world of IBM Power servers. In this session, you'll understand the prerequisites to setup IBM PowerVC and how to start using it. Then, you'll learn to use OpenStack commands to manage your Power IaaS cloud infrastructure. Our IBM Power servers are located in Poughkeepsie, New York.  With unparalleled access to real-time servers from an IBM data center, you'll gain the skills and confidence you need to become an IBM Power administrator. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to improve your server management skills – sign up today!
IBM PowerVC: Capture Images and Deploy (Part 2 of 3) Join us on an exciting journey into the world of IBM Power servers! In this session, you'll discover how to create a brand new image from a previously deployed virtual machine, and learn how to use this image to deploy virtual machines for your cloud service users. We'll also show you how to create deploy-templates that contain all the settings necessary to deploy virtual machines from a given image – and teach you how to configure networks on IBM PowerVC. If you attended the first part of this series, you won't want to miss this session – sign up now and continue your journey towards becoming a skilled IBM Power administrator!
IBM PowerVC: Self-service Provisioning (Part 3 of 3) In this session, we'll show you how to deploy a virtual machine as a non-administrative user of your infrastructure, as well as how to approve requests as an administrator. We'll also cover a range of other essential administrative tasks on your cloud infrastructure, including working with REST APIs and unmanaging virtual machines. With our expert guidance and unparalleled access to real-time IBM Power servers, you'll have everything you need to become a skilled and confident IBM Power administrator. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to elevate your server management skills – sign up now!
Mastering AIX 7.3: AIX installation and configuration techniques (Part 1 of 3) Join us for a hands-on training session that will teach you everything you need to know to install AIX and additional software packages on your IBM Power environment. With access to IBM Power servers located in Poughkeepsie, NY, you'll get the chance to hone your skills in a real-world environment, under the guidance of expert trainers. By the end of the session, you'll have the confidence and expertise to tackle any AIX installation challenge that comes your way.
Mastering AIX 7.3: Storage and networking concepts (Part 2 of 3) Join us for a hands-on training session on working with storage concepts such as logical volumes and volume groups, using the Logical Volume Manager (LVM) on AIX. You'll also learn fundamental networking concepts on AIX.
Mastering AIX 7.3: Backup and recovery (Part 3 of 3) In this session, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the backup and restore functions available in AIX. Through a hands-on lab, you'll learn how to create a backup of the root volume group, restore files and directories from the backup, and perform full and incremental backups of file systems. You'll also explore other techniques, such as backup and restore by name and for user-defined volume groups. You'll also learn the snapshot method for backing up entire volume groups or file systems.
Hybrid Cloud and hybrid architecture Microsservice Application hands on build and deploy.   Very technical hands-on session where we learn how run a Micro services that runs on top of Modern Framework like Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, Java, Golang, Node.JS and .NET. in a Multi-cloud an Multi-architecture fashion.
Build and deploy IBM Power Virtual Server (PowerVS) environment in IBM Cloud IBM Power Virtual Server is a multi-tenant service co-located on IBM Cloud that enables businesses to migrate their workloads to the cloud, build Hybrid Cloud ecosystems and modernize applications and data, in a flexible and cost-effective manner. In this lab, participants will navigate and provision a PowerVS environment using the IBM Cloud user interface. Participants will learn terminologies such as virtual server instance, subnets, storage, SSH keys, shared processor pools and images. The lab will also go through the process of constructing and deploying an AIX, IBM i, or Linux PowerVS vsi. As an additional step, participants will explore a key IBM Cloud network feature for global routing, by configuring a PowerVS Cloud Connection with Transit Gateway between two geographic regions.
Bringing .NET to Life with Power - Guided Hands on Labs A series of guided hands-on labs to gain experience deploying multiple .NET capabilities on Power with RHEL and OpenShift.
Openshift Components Backup and Restore: How to get that ? This hands on session aims to demonstrate the Backup and Restore dynamic on an Openshift Environment. The user will experience how to get OpenShift API for Data Protection (a.k.a. OADP) working to have a tool for backup and restore based on the Open Source project called Velero (https://velero.io/).
OCP users which would be interested in Backup and Restore for their Power environment and OADP is one of the ways you can get them this feature.
IBM Merlin (Modernization Engine for Lifecycle Engine) Hand-on Lab IBM Merlin (Modernization Engine for Lifecycle Engine) a strategic platform enabling IBM i customers to modernize both their heritage applications and development processes via DevOps.  Merlin was built on Red Hat OpenShift to take advantage of a modern Hybrid Cloud world and realize the value of multi-platform CI/CD pipelines. The modernization tooling within Merlin helps IBM i developers to create next generation applications leveraging the existing investment in traditional systems often written in RPG & COBOL. RESTful interface connections and enterprise messaging technologies allow developers to add new business value to IBM i applications. This lab will cover theory and several hands-on components
