I started to use IBM AIX machines back in 1994, and in 1998 used IBM AIX power machines in HACMP configuration, at that time, found the JFS of AIX is very reliable compared with UFS, we could just unplug the power to shut a machine down to trigger the failover, without need to worry the filesystem could get a corruption.
I started IBM using in the year 2005, when a bank of Bangladesh, Dhaka named IFIC Bank Limited purchased Misys now Finastra's Core Banking System CBS Equation for the Bank. After that I have implemented Bank's more than 1000 branches with the Finastra MISYS Equation CBS till 2022. Since 17 Years of using ISeries or IBMi I can assure me world as the best ever trusted System in the Universe as that Hardware, Operating System, Software and Database and Applications never disturbed the Bank and a million of customers for a Single Day. Great System ever I used in my 25 Years carrer. Some time it's technically fault for any reasons but the best supports team also jumped on as from Bank's Team with the, IBM and Local Distributor and Finastra's Misys Equation CBS Team.I feel proud and want to work with me IBM team or any IBMi team in the World.Best wishes for any team who works with IBMi Team.
