Access client Solutions: A key to the treasure of IBMi OS

Introduction:

In 1988, the IBMi operating system was introduced under the name OS/400. Over the years, it evolved and gained efficiency and new features, leading to its rebranding as i5/OS in 2004. In 2008, it was given its current name, IBMi, marking a milestone of 35 years in service. Throughout its journey, IBMi has been a robust platform supporting diverse applications and languages such as RPG, COBOL, Java, PHP, Python, and Node.js.

Amidst the multitude of operating systems available, IBMi stands out for its exceptional integration capabilities, reliability, top-notch security features, and a commendably low total cost of ownership. Notably, it comes equipped with a built-in database called Db2 for I, seamlessly integrated with both the operating system and applications.

For those eager to explore and work with the IBMi OS, there's a key that unlocks its treasures, and it goes by the name "ACS" – Access Client Solutions.
